Associate Lawyer – Insurance and Commercial Litigation

Job description

Our client is one of Canada’s leading litigation boutiques based in Toronto. They are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic associate with 3 to 5 years’ experience to join their firm.

Your new role

In this new role you will be responsible for providing outstanding client service. You will have the opportunity to work with the partners of the firm on a regular basis in their busy practices. The work in this role will involve insurance coverage advice and related litigation, subrogation litigation, insurance defence litigation, transportation and maritime litigation and some commercial litigation as well.

What you will need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have minimum of 3 years’ post-call experience, member good standing, Law Society of Canadian jurisdiction. You can work well under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. You also have strong teamwork skills, trustworthy, accountable, proactive and a positive work attitude. You should also have strong written skills.
