**This position is remote.  If the resource does live within driving distance of Harrisburg, the client would like to have the resource report on-site once per month.  Candidate must work EST Business Hours. **
 
Our direct client has an opening for a SAP HCM in SAP ECC 6.0 Functional Consultant position # 747004 . This position is for 9-12+ months, with option of extension, and will be worked remote.  (must work EST business hours).

Description:
Description of Duties: 
  • Coordinate and take the lead role for the technical/functional development and support of the assigned requests, projects, and tasks for the following functionalities within SAP HCM and the resource must be able to perform the below duties within all of these: 
    • SAP Personnel Administration 
      • Experience configuring infotypes
      • Experience configuring enterprise, organizational and personnel structures
    • SAP Benefits Administration (BN) including: 
      • Experience setting up new Benefit plans
      • Experience configuring standard SAP programs like HRBEN0052
      • Experience working projects like implementing a new benefit vendor (we have a project starting next month to implement a new Flexible spending account vendor)
      • Experience configuring 1095-Cs
    • SAP Payroll
      • Experience configuring wage types, Financial (FI) postings, 3rd party posting, Remuneration statements.
    • SAP Interfaces
      • Experience working ABAP developers to design/maintain interfaces
      • Experience testing with 3rd party vendors
      • Experience running LSMW (mass data loads) loads for various infotypes
  • Be assigned Request Items, Tasks, and Projects to complete in a self-directed and semi-independent manner. 
  • Ensure a mutual understanding of the request and the proposed approach/response between both the PTC and the Contractor before beginning work on a request. 
  • Coordinate and execute all development aspects including reports, integrations, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, and enhancements. 
  • Document requirements, or user stories in detail, as determined by the PTC, within Azure Dev Ops (ADO). 
  • Perform technical functions that are within the scope of this position.  These include, but are not limited to configuring, coding, testing, data loads, and scripting. 
  • Document the progress and other details relating to the work being performed within the appropriate PTC’s system(s) of record. 
  • Perform and/or coordinate the Unit, System Integration, User Acceptance, and other testing as specified by the PTC following the PTC’s IT Quality Management Playbook (playbook to be provided upon start of work). 
  • Document and demonstrate changes (Showbacks) to stakeholders, as directed. 
  • Work with the PTC system administration team to have the changes code and peer reviewed then implemented into PROD. 
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer on the changes, as requested by the PTC.  Plus provide guidance and support to the application support team, as needed, for troubleshooting issues or answering questions as directed by the PTC. 
  • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients. 
  • Leads, and participates in project team activities for system work efforts related to enterprise systems. 
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties assigned. 
  • Adhere to the PTC standards, policies, and procedures. 
  • Utilizes various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties. 
  • Perform tasks and other duties as assigned by the PTC. 
 
Education and Experience Requirements: 
  • Five years of SAP HCM in SAP ECC 6.0 Functional experience as a Functional / Product Specialist on projects of various size and subject matter 
  • Experience designing and debugging SAP related interfaces 
  • 8+ Years: Expertise in delivering services via SAP HCM for projects of various sizes and subject matters 
  • 5+ Years: Experience in delivering SAP HCM services as described within this request 
  • 5+ Years: Experience with designing business processes for HCM implementation 
  • At least one hands-on SAP HCM implementation project as a functional or technical lead. 
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a Business Analyst capacity 
  • Experience working with, and giving presentations to, senior leadership and stakeholders 
  • At least two prior support and enhancements project as a functional or technical lead 
  • Experience coding and configuration SAP HCM 
  • ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies 
  • ServiceNow Experience in ITSM, Idea, Project, and Demand module 
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft ADO Testing Module 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems
