To thrive as a Remote Insurance Recruiter, you need strong knowledge of insurance industry roles, effective sourcing strategies, and experience in talent acquisition, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), virtual meeting platforms, and recruiting tools like LinkedIn Recruiter is typically required. Recruiters in this field use online platforms, video calls, and digital tools to connect with potential candidates and facilitate the hiring process for insurance agencies, carriers, or brokerages. This approach allows companies to access a wider talent pool and enables recruiters to work from anywhere, increasing flexibility for both employers and job seekers.

Job description

Remote Litigation Paralegal – California Employment Litigation

A highly structured, technology-enabled plaintiff-side employment litigation firm is seeking an experienced California Litigation Paralegal to join its fully remote team.

The firm has built a reputation for combining high-level litigation work with a collaborative, systems-driven culture focused on professionalism, operational excellence, and sustainable workflows. Legal professionals are supported by a strong operational infrastructure and technology so they can focus on substantive litigation work rather than unnecessary administrative burdens.

This position is ideal for a litigation paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys meaningful responsibility, and can independently support attorneys through all phases of litigation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of California civil litigation experience required
  • Employment litigation experience preferred but not required
  • Experience supporting FEHA, wage and hour, PAGA, discrimination, retaliation, or wrongful termination matters preferred
  • Strong drafting experience required, including motions and discovery
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • $85,000 – $120,000 depending on experience
  • Hourly compensation structure
  • Annual compensation reviews based on performance and experience
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Firm covers 70% of medical insurance premiums based on the Kaiser Silver plan
  • 401(k) with employer match after 1 year
  • $50 monthly internet reimbursement
  • $600 annual reimbursement for work-related expenses
  • Company-provided equipment, including a laptop and related technology
  • 10 PTO days accrued annually
  • 6 sick days per year
  • 10 paid holidays

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working in a remote, systems-based litigation environment. The firm is seeking a professional who can take ownership of litigation support responsibilities, proactively move matters forward, and contribute to a high-performing legal team without the traditional law firm burnout environment.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000
