The Remote Insurance Producer serves as an Insurance Advisor whose primary responsibility is generating new business for the agency through proactive sales activities conducted remotely. This role focuses on building relationships with prospective clients, identifying insurance needs, and providing professional guidance to help individuals, families, and business owners make informed decisions about protecting their assets.


As a key member of the sales team, you will utilize phone, video conferencing, referrals, networking, and agency-provided lead sources to develop new client relationships and grow the agency's book of business. Through a consultative approach, you will educate clients on coverage options, recommend appropriate insurance solutions, and deliver a high-quality customer experience throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and agency-provided leads.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline while maintaining consistent follow-up with prospects and clients.
  • Conduct insurance consultations to identify client needs, assess risks, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Collect and analyze client information to develop personalized insurance proposals and protection strategies.
  • Present coverage options, explain policy features, and advise clients on protecting their assets, property, and liability exposures.
  • Complete applications, underwriting requirements, and policy binding processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses and stay current on insurance products and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance laws, regulations, carrier guidelines, and agency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate client records and protect confidential information in accordance with privacy and data security requirements.
  • Meet or exceed established sales, activity, and production goals while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, banking, real estate, or other consultative sales environments.
  • Must possess and maintain active Colorado Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance licenses.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with prospective clients.
  • Ability to effectively prospect, manage a sales pipeline, and consistently follow up on opportunities.
  • Proficient with computers, CRM systems, and virtual communication tools.
  • Must provide and maintain a reliable computer, internet connection, and telephone suitable for a remote work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accountability.
