  • Assist with preparation of written discovery, document production, privilege logs, and case management reports.
  • Coordinate depositions, inspections, independent medical examinations, mediations, expert consultations, and hearings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, adjusters, experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties.
  • Prepare exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, mediation materials, and other litigation support documents.
  • Maintain litigation calendars, monitor court deadlines, and ensure case files and correspondence are accurately maintained.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and other case-related projects as needed.
About You:
  • 3+ years of insurance defense paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum availability of 20 hours/week to start
  • Experience supporting insurance defense, general liability, construction defect, premises liability, transportation, property damage, professional liability, coverage, or related litigation matters
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, discovery, case management, and trial preparation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple active litigation matters
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Experience with legal software such as Clio, Filevine, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Windows-based computer preferred
  • Availability and responsiveness within 1 hour during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Why You’ll Love Working Here

Compensation and benefits:
  • $26 per hour
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid sick time and employee discounts
  • Annual performance bonuses
  • 6-month pay review with potential hourly increase based on performance
  • Reimbursement of certain expenses
