  • Collaborate with Field Sales and Product Management teams to determine customer requirements, recommend products, and increase customer satisfaction.


Job description

Under the direction of the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers, create new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction. This position can be based out of our San Jose office or could accommodate someone working remotely in other geographies within the United States.
RFMW is an electronic component distributor of RF and microwave products.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Generate new and repeat sales by providing product information in a timely manner.
Utilize ERP System to accurately process and manage customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns, samples: as well as opportunity tracking, design registrations and ship & debits.
Work with the Field Sales and Product Management teams on the following:
Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.
Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items.
Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery.
Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering or Business preferred). Three plus years related experience in Sales/Marketing environment.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bright, energetic professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-driven and independent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT), and web-based CRM too.

Total Annual Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000/year. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
