The LMFT position is designed to be entirely remote, providing you with flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with your colleagues and clients. Our digital tools and platforms facilitate seamless communication and collaboration, allowing you to engage deeply with our client population and the broader multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, nurses, and other mental health professionals.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs, using a variety of standardized tools and methods.
• Design, implement, and review personalized treatment plans that align with assessment findings and individual client goals, ensuring a focus on measurable outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Family Systems Therapy, adapting your approach to best suit the client's dynamics and challenges.
• Provide ongoing counseling and support services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing matters such as relationship issues, grief, anxiety, and depression.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment strategy that enhances the overall care experience for each patient.
• Keep thorough and timely clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and the accuracy of medical records.
• Maintain a commitment to ethical and legal standards, including staying current with licensure requirements and engaging in continuous professional development.

In our community health clinic setting, you will work with a diverse array of clients, from children and adolescents to adults, all facing various mental health challenges. Your capacity to deliver culturally competent care will be essential in addressing the unique experiences and needs of our patient population.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active LMFT licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in providing mental health counseling or therapy, particularly in settings relevant to marriage and family issues.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, ensuring thorough evaluations and treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering the building of therapeutic rapport with clients and their families.
• A commitment to promoting diversity and providing culturally sensitive, client-centered care tailored to individuals’ unique backgrounds.

While not required, experience with teletherapy platforms and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals accessing remote mental health services will be favorable. Experience with community health initiatives or public health settings is also a plus, as it aligns with our mission to reach underrepresented populations.
