As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gray Matters Counseling Solutions, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients’ needs and inform tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to help clients set and achieve personal goals.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client information is handled with care and dignity.
• Engaging in regular consultations and team meetings with fellow therapists to share insights and improve the overall quality of care.
• Providing educational resources and workshops that empower clients and their families, equipping them with skills to foster resilience and recovery.
• Staying current on advancements in mental health practices, ensuring the application of the latest research and methodologies in your therapeutic approach.

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their journey toward mental wellness, providing them with coping strategies and the assurance they need to make positive changes.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• An active and unrestricted LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in Arizona.
• Demonstrable experience in solution-focused therapy with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a commitment to professional development and team-oriented practice.

Candidates with at least two years of experience in providing mental health counseling services will be preferred. Familiarity with specific therapeutic techniques and assessment tools relevant to various mental health issues will enhance your application.
