Job description

About Bask Men's

Bask Men's is the new men's division of Bask & Lather Co., a fast-growing, family-founded haircare brand known for its authentic story, transformative results, and community-first approach. Bask Men's inherits the trust, product quality, and scientific credibility of the parent brand while building its own identity, systems, and creative direction from the ground up. Our goal is to build the most trusted premium men's hair wellness brand in the category, with a distinct point of view across product, content, and community.

Position Summary

Bask Men's is seeking an Associate Social & Community Coordinator to help bring our organic content ecosystem to life during this early, foundational stage of the division. This role sits on the Social Media Manager career track, built for where the division is today: you'll take the content buckets, posting cadence, and organic strategy set by the Director of Brand + Creative,  and turn them into consistent, day-to-day execution, managing incoming assets, doing light design, publishing across channels, running community management, and keeping creative workflows, briefs, and deliverables moving across the team.

This role works directly with the Director, playing a key part in bringing the brand's organic presence to life during this foundational stage. As the division scales and a full social rollout is in place, there is a clear path for growth, with the opportunity to advance into a Social Media Manager position within the Brand org.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Content Publishing & Execution

  • Publish approved content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms on the cadence and calendar set by your Director.
  • Keep day-to-day posting consistent and on-schedule so channels stay active as the brand's presence is being established.
  • Support execution of short-form series and content production across organic channels.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social channels, per established brand guidelines.

Asset & Creative Workflow Management

  • Manage incoming assets from photoshoots, the contract AD/Producer, and the Brand Designer, organizing, labeling, and preparing them for use.
  • Track briefs and deliverables across creative contributors, keeping projects moving and flagging blockers or missing assets.
  • Maintain an organized, up-to-date content calendar and asset library.
  • Provide light design support, including resizing, cropping, templated graphics, caption formatting, and story/post assembly, using Canva or similar tools. Does not own visual systems or brand design.

Community Management

  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries across all social platforms.
  • Foster genuine engagement with our audience and early brand advocates while maintaining brand standards.
  • Escalate customer service concerns or sensitive issues to the appropriate internal teams.

Creator & Partnership Support

  • Support scheduling, logistics, and content tracking for creator and influencer collaborations, including recurring series.
  • Maintain organized records of creator deliverables, assets, and posting timelines.

Reporting

  • Track basic engagement, growth, and content performance metrics.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a social media coordinator, marketing coordinator, or similar support role.
  • Hands-on experience publishing and managing content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Familiarity with content calendars, approval workflows, and keeping multiple briefs or deliverables on track at once.
  • Comfortable with light design work in tools like Canva (templated graphics, resizing, caption/story formatting).
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong organizational habits.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera occasionally and participating in content shoots as needed.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, early-stage environment, taking clear direction while helping build structure where it doesn't fully exist yet.

Preferred

  • Experience within men's grooming, beauty, haircare, or lifestyle consumer products.
  • Exposure to influencer or creator coordination (scheduling, deliverable tracking).
  • Familiarity with social scheduling or reporting platforms.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with:

  • Canva (required); Adobe Creative Suite / Photoshop a plus
  • CapCut or similar video editing software
  • Social media scheduling and reporting platforms (e.g. Sprout Social or similar)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Work Environment

  • Full-time position
  • Remote / EST
  • Must be available to participate in content shoots, brand events, creator activations, and live social sessions as needed

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching eligibility
  • Plum Benefits Discounts
  • Employee Product Discounts
  • Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company and a newly built division
