Join Cambium Learning Group's Talent Acquisition team as a temporary Recruiter, partnering with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top talent across the organization.This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who brings strong relationship-building skills, initiative, professionalism, and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
As a member of our in-house Talent Acquisition team, you will partner with leaders across multiple business units to hire top talent aligned with our mission. You will own the full recruitment process, from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation, while serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and a positive ambassador for the Cambium Learning Group brand.

Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates are exceptional relationship builders who are highly organized, consultative, and results-oriented. They demonstrate strong communication skills, effectively manage competing priorities, and operate with a sense of urgency while delivering a positive recruiting experience.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including intake meetings, job description consultation, sourcing, candidate evaluation, interview coordination, offer development, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand current hiring needs and pipeline future talent requirements.
  • Source and engage active and passive candidates using creative sourcing strategies, networking, and market research techniques.
  • Build and maintain effective talent pipelines across a variety of functional areas and skill sets.
  • Leverage market intelligence, recruiting metrics, and candidate insights to influence hiring decisions and drive positive outcomes.
  • Manage candidate workflows, recruiting technology platforms, and interview processes while ensuring timely communication, workflow efficiency, and a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate an efficient and effective hiring process.
  • Deliver a consistently positive candidate experience that reflects Cambium Learning Group's values and culture.

Job Requirements:
  • 2 to 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in an in-house, agency, or blended recruiting environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple searches and delivering hiring results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting Go-to-Market (GTM) organizations and developing effective talent pipelines for revenue-generating roles is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage recruiting technologies, sourcing tools, and market insights to identify, engage, track, and manage qualified candidates. Experience using AI-enabled recruiting technologies to enhance sourcing, candidate engagement, workflow management, and recruiting efficiency.
  • Commitment to accountability, follow-through, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and solve problems while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Comfort adopting emerging technologies and AI-enabled recruiting tools to streamline administrative work, surface recruiting insights, improve workflow efficiency, and support a high-quality hiring experience.
