Volt is hiring Remote Inbound Insurance Representatives to support customers in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment. This is a 100% work-from-home position supporting customers during Pacific Time Zone business hours.
If you have experience handling high-volume inbound calls in a remote, call center, or medical insurance environment, we'd love to hear from you!
As an Inbound Insurance Representative, you will:
  • Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls, emails, and chat inquiries
  • Provide information regarding:
    • Health insurance plans and benefits
    • Prescription coverage and eligibility
    • Products, services, and company procedures
    • Online ordering and e-commerce support
    • Payment processing and collections
    • Order status, shipping updates, and inventory availability
  • Research and resolve customer concerns and escalations
  • Accurately document customer interactions and complete required forms and correspondence
  • Educate customers on available products, services, and program benefits
  • Process claims and related transactions as needed
  • Support Sales Representatives with customer requests and order inquiries
  • Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities
  • Monitor customer trends and provide feedback to internal teams
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Attend occasional client events, benefit fairs, or open enrollment meetings as required

This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule:
  • Work schedule may include Monday through Sunday, based on business needs.
  • Employees scheduled to work on Saturday and/or Sunday will receive alternate days off during the week.

Typical Shift Hours:
  • 6:55 AM - 3:25 PM PT (9:55 AM - 6:25 PM ET)
  • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PT (11:30 AM - 8:00 PM ET)

Shift assignment and schedule are determined based on business needs and may vary.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Position requires home internet access:
    • Internet Connection: Wired connection to router/modem (cable provided; router/modem not provided)
    • Download Speed: Minimum 50 Mbps
    • Upload Speed: Minimum 10 Mbps
    • Latency: Less than 150 m
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in industries such as call centers, insurance, retail, software, telecommunications, or eyewear.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
  • Strong internet and browser knowledge.
  • Ability to work with multiple software programs at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good judgment and discretion in handling customer interactions.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour to start.
