• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health needs, identifying areas of concern and determining appropriate treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that directly address clients’ unique mental health challenges, setting measurable goals to track their progress over time.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, focusing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate with the broader clinical team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment and integrated care coordination for clients.
• Educate and empower clients’ families, fostering an understanding of mental health issues and encouraging active involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain confidential and accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards to ensure the highest level of care and accountability.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Center Light, you will work with a diverse population that spans various demographics, including adults, adolescents, and families facing mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and more. • Possession of a master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, exhibiting excellent therapeutic skills throughout their recovery process.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with team members and support personnel.

• Familiarity with telehealth modalities and digital communication tools, enhancing the delivery of care in a remote setting.
• Experience with specific populations, such as children, veterans, or those with severe mental health conditions, is a plus.
