Rising Phoenix Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Trauma-Informed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ specific needs.
• Provide up to bi-weekly therapy sessions, ensuring consistency in support while adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary.
• Manage crisis situations and assess safety concerns, implementing therapeutic interventions that prioritize client well-being.
• Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant documentation of session notes and treatment progress in electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and participate in regular consultations, supervision, and referrals when needed to ensure comprehensive care.
• Make ethical clinical decisions that prioritize the client's needs, fostering trust and rapport within the therapeutic relationship.
• Utilize specialized modalities such as EMDR and IFS to effectively support clients dealing with complex trauma and PTSD.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, including adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Our practice is dedicated to addressing the complexities of trauma, enabling clients to work through their experiences with a strong foundation of support and understanding. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will be crucial in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes and achieve personal goals.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Current Oregon licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT is preferred, demonstrating your qualifications to provide mental health counseling.
• Strong computer skills are essential, including proficiency in electronic documentation and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.

We are seeking candidates with direct experience in providing trauma-informed care, particularly those who have a passion for working with individuals diagnosed with PTSD or related disorders. Previous work with a range of client demographics including adults, children, and families will be highly valued. Experience with EMDR and Internal Family Systems therapeutic models will also be advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our organization offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
