• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic sessions with clients, ensuring consistency in care, which includes up to bi-weekly sessions and appropriate termination processes when applicable.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques when necessary, assessing safety concerns and implementing therapeutic strategies to mitigate immediate risks.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow counselors, sharing insights and offering referrals as needed, while also engaging in supervision and consultation to enhance therapeutic efficacy.
• Stay informed and skilled in various therapy modalities, including but not limited to EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Our client base is diverse, encompassing adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families, all struggling with the aftermath of trauma. As a Mental Health Counselor, your expertise will guide these individuals through their paths to recovery, providing them with the tools and strategies they need to confront their past experiences and foster resilience.

• Essential: A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
• Preferred: Valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Proven ability to work independently while demonstrating a strong ethical code in all client interactions.
• Experience or a strong passion for working with trauma-affected populations is highly desired.

• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-informed care, particularly with clients who have experienced PSTD-related challenges.
• Familiarity with using various therapeutic techniques and modalities, including EMDR and IFS, to tailor treatment to individual client needs.
• Ability to assess and manage crisis situations effectively while maintaining the highest standard of client care.
