We invite passionate and qualified professionals to apply for the role of Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specifically licensed as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to provide therapeutic support for individuals facing substance abuse challenges and co-occurring mental health disorders. This full-time remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while delivering essential outpatient therapy services. You will be pivotal in fostering healing and growth for clients through effective therapeutic techniques.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to engage with clients through our secure telehealth platform. The position is supported by a collaborative outpatient team comprised of mental health professionals who share a commitment to client-centered care, innovative therapeutic practices, and holistic healing strategies. Although the work is conducted remotely, regular team meetings and consultations foster a sense of community and ongoing professional support.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to address the specific needs of clients.
  • Conducting thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Developing, implementing, and adapting individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their unique goals and challenges.
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings to review treatment strategies and contribute insights for holistic client care.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapeutic sessions and client interactions in accordance with regulations and ethical guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals, including those struggling with substance use disorders, dual diagnosis patients, and families needing support to improve relational dynamics. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A current, valid license in good standing related to mental health therapy, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent.
  • Active license not under suspension or probation.
  • Adherence to pre-employment checks, including tuberculosis screening, background checks, and drug screening, with ongoing compliance as per organizational policies.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience working with substance use populations or dual-diagnosis clients.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Proficiency in telehealth technologies and remote therapy practices.
Compensation and Benefits
