Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized therapeutic sessions via video chat, fostering a safe and confidential space for clients to discuss their feelings and experiences.
  • Facilitate open discussions to promote self-reflection, self-awareness, and personal growth.
  • Advocate for each client’s unique needs and collaborate with them to set realistic and achievable mental health goals.
  • Assess and evaluate clients’ mental health status, devising personalized treatment plans based on their individual circumstances and your clinical expertise.
  • Employ solution-focused methodologies to guide clients toward positive outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns. This role will not involve working with individuals facing severe mental health crises, allowing you to focus on supporting those who may be dealing with stress, anxiety, or life transitions. We ensure that our therapists are matched with clients that align with their specialties and preferences, creating a conducive environment for effective therapy.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required to apply for this role:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current and valid licensure to practice independently as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • Demonstrated strong clinical skills with the ability to create and implement effective treatment plans.
