Description:
Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Tier 2 System Administrator to join our Remote Operations team supporting end users across network, desktop, and systems environments. In this role, you'll be a go-to problem solver-helping users troubleshoot issues, restore functionality, and stay productive. You'll work hands-on with both hardware and software, leveraging remote tools to support a distributed user base while collaborating with a supportive team.
Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems from initial report through full resolution
  • Deliver remote support using tools such as Remote Desktop and other remote access solutions
  • Investigate and resolve help desk tickets supporting cloud and endpoint environments
  • Apply structured diagnostic techniques to identify root causes and implement fixes
  • Offer guidance and support to junior team members when needed

Qualifications:
  • IAT Level 1 certification required (CompTIA A+ or Network+)
  • HS Diploma or GED with 15+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and supporting end-user devices
  • Hands-on experience with Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a shift-based support environment
