Job description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for humanities, arts, and culture professionals experienced in reviewing cultural analysis documents, arts materials, research summaries, educational resources, curatorial content, spreadsheets, slide decks, and presentation-ready humanities artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on humanities and cultural artifact review, arts materials evaluation, rubric-based assessment, document and spreadsheet review, slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, interpretive, aesthetic, and presentation issues.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Humanities & Cultural Artifact Review

  • Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving humanities, arts, culture, history, literature, philosophy, visual arts, performing arts, cultural analysis, and arts education
  • Review humanities and cultural materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance
  • Assess whether analysis is contextually sound, historically accurate, culturally nuanced, and appropriate for the stated audience
  • Identify factual errors, weak interpretation, missing context, unclear framing, unsupported claims, or poor linkage between evidence and conclusions

Arts, Culture & Interpretation Quality Evaluation

  • Review materials involving cultural reports, arts programming, exhibition summaries, educational resources, literature or history materials, artist/context summaries, and presentation decks
  • Assess whether content demonstrates strong cultural understanding, clear interpretive logic, and appropriate tone
  • Evaluate research summaries, cultural briefings, educational materials, curatorial-style content, and audience-facing recommendations for rigor and usability
  • Provide clear written feedback that improves humanities, arts, and culture artifact quality

Spreadsheet, Document & Presentation Quality Review

  • Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency
  • Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality
  • Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
  • Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in humanities, arts, culture, cultural institutions, museums, galleries, publishing, arts administration, curatorial work, cultural research, arts education, academia, editorial work, or related fields
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
  • Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment

Educational Background

  • Academic backgrounds in humanities, art history, history, literature, philosophy, classics, cultural studies, museum studies, visual arts, performing arts, media studies, anthropology, or related fields may be relevant
  • Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable
  • Professional training in cultural research, curatorial practice, arts education, humanities writing, editorial review, or museum/gallery work may also be relevant depending on project scope

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree, PhD, MFA, or comparable humanities, arts, or culture-related credential
  • Experience creating or reviewing cultural reports, exhibition materials, arts education resources, research summaries, editorial content, curatorial briefs, grant materials, programming decks, or audience-facing cultural materials
  • Familiarity with humanities research methods, cultural interpretation, source evaluation, historical context, arts criticism, audience engagement, and educational presentation design
  • Experience reviewing presentation decks for clarity, polish, and cultural communication quality
