Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Applying diverse therapeutic modalities to address emotional and behavioral disorders for individuals and families.
  • Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to develop detailed treatment plans and initial discharge strategies.
  • Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to meet the specific needs outlined in client treatment plans.

  • Managing and maintaining an assigned caseload while prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.

This position will involve working with a varied client population, including adults, adolescents, and families. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.
  • A commitment to adhering to ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a proven track record of working with diverse populations including both adults and children. Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy sessions is highly desirable.
