Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, culturally relevant therapy services in both English and Spanish to clients of all ages.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate client progress.
  • Engage in active case management, coordinating with external providers, family members, and community resources to ensure holistic client support.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment progress efficiently using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to collaborative treatment discussions and sharing insights on best practices.
  • Provide educational resources and workshops to clients and community members on mental health topics relevant to the population we serve.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Our focus on culturally sensitive practices ensures that therapy provided respects and integrates each client's unique life experiences, customs, and values. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through challenges related to trauma, grief, and relationships, utilizing your expertise to foster healing and resilience.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license issued by the State of California.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong communication skills to provide bilingual psychotherapy services.
  • A minimum of two years of direct experience working in mental health settings, specifically with children and families.
  • Demonstrated respect for the cultural and individual needs of clients, complemented by a deep understanding of diverse perspectives.
  • Trained in evidence-based therapy modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to adhere to all HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using EHR software and standard office applications, along with the capacity to handle telehealth sessions securely.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work at least two evenings a week and one weekend day.
  • Regular attendance, punctuality, and commitment to delivering consistent care to clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A developed area of specialization in topics such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.
  • Experience working as an in-network provider with various insurance panels.
  • Positive references indicating a consistent track record of reliability and professional conduct.

Compensation and Benefits
