You will engage with educational staff and other mental health professionals through telehealth platforms and online collaboration tools to ensure high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of students.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and create individualized treatment plans that address both short-term and long-term mental health goals.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to students experiencing acute mental health distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to develop and implement strategies that support student mental health initiatives.
  • Assist clients in navigating community resources, including therapeutic programs, housing support, healthcare services, and financial assistance.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and case notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Act as an advocate for students’ rights and promote their engagement in the treatment process and overall wellness journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population includes students ranging from elementary through high school, as well as their families. Many of our clients face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your role will focus on not only addressing immediate mental health needs but also fostering resilience and teaching coping strategies that empower students to navigate life’s challenges.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Georgia.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or social services, with a strong understanding of school-based environments.
  • Proficient knowledge of case management and therapeutic interventions, with experience in crisis de-escalation techniques.
