Job description

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Provider Data Entry 1 (Remote PST) for an opportunity in 100% Remote PST


Position Title:ย  Provider Data Entry 1 (Remote PST)

Location: 100% Remote PST

Expected Duration: 3 months

Job Type: Contract with potential extension and Possibility to convert if position opens within department

Shift: 2โ€“4 weeks of 1:1 training (Monโ€“Fri, flexible between 6:00 AMโ€“7:00 PM PST; no time off allowed); regular schedule Monโ€“Fri 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM PST with optional OT (extended hours or Saturdays) based on workload, not mandatory.

Pay Rate: $23/hour (W2)

Position Purpose:

  • Accurately enter and process member provider selection requests, along with all other administrative operational tasks.

ย 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of data entry or general office experience

ย 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and process various change request forms and doctor selection requests received through the member portal and other system queues in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process provider termination requests by performing membership moves and initiating termination letter requests to affected members
  • Manually process provider selections for members who are unable to assign through the health planโ€™s auto-assignment system
  • Track and report provider selection errors identified by call center representatives
  • Retrieve and process all incoming returned mail and fax requests
  • Process all provider member disenrollment requests
