In this LMSW role, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks that directly impact patient care and outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the psychological and social needs of patients and their families, developing tailored treatment plans that adhere to best practices and evidence-based approaches.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions that may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities customized to meet the diverse needs of patients dealing with grief, loss, and transitions in care.
• Maintaining detailed and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that patient information is accurate and secure.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, psychiatrists, and chaplains, to create cohesive and integrated care plans for patients.
• Participating in regular case consultations and continuing education sessions to enhance your professional skills and contribute to overall team effectiveness.
• Providing psycho-education to patients and family members about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to engage actively in their care processes.
• Staying current with industry developments and incorporating new research into your treatment practices to improve patient care.

The LMSW will work closely with patients battling terminal illnesses and their families, providing emotional support and counseling during some of the most challenging times in their lives. This role requires a commitment to understanding the unique needs of this vulnerable population, ensuring they receive dignified and compassionate care tailored to their individual circumstances.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your advanced knowledge and skills.
• A valid state-issued Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license, verifying your professional qualifications.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with proficiency in providing psychotherapy services, especially in end-of-life care or hospice settings.
• Expertise in various therapeutic interventions and knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

• Previous experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload while maintaining effective treatment plans and timely goal achievements.
• Familiarity with community resources and support services tailored for patients in hospice care.

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
