Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to evaluate mental health needs and triage care effectively.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes with precision, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and ethical standards.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with a multidisciplinary team, including regular patient rounds and case consultations, to strategize and optimize patient care.
• Provide case management services to patients, coordinating with community resources and healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive care pathways.
• Maintain ethical and timely completion of documentation as per the organization's regulatory expectations, ensuring clarity in communication across care teams.
• Support the therapeutic process by providing in-depth counseling and interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting with a range of mental health concerns. Our clients often seek treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues, requiring a compassionate and skillful approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and active license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the State of New York.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote settings, utilizing technology for patient assessments and therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits
