In your role as an LCSW, you will have a variety of important responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand patients' emotional and psychological needs.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based and solution-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Administering different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address diverse client needs.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation per HIPAA standards, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and nurses, to formulate integrated care strategies for patients.
• Participating in case consultations and peer reviews, sharing insights to continuously improve treatment outcomes.
• Educating patients and families about mental health concerns and available community resources, fostering a supportive environment.
• Staying informed about current research and best practices in mental health and integrating these into your clinical work.

Your primary focus will be on patients receiving hospice care, who often face complex emotional and psychological challenges. These clients may include individuals with terminal illnesses, their families, and caregivers, all in need of empathetic support and effective interventions to cope with the difficulties of grief, loss, and transition.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.
• Proficient knowledge of solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• A collaborative spirit, with an ability to work effectively within a team-driven approach to patient care.

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Familiarity with end-of-life issues and grief counseling.
• Proficient in telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.
