Test Architect

Visa Restrictions – None End Client – Confidential (financial services firm mainly in capital markets field). Location – Dallas, TX Remote Possible – Yes, initially remote. Later on to get relocated to Dallas once routine work starts. Contract Duration – Minimum 3 months, extendable based on performance C2H Possibility – Yes, with the end client, possible based on performance during contract duration. Rates - Open

The Opportunity:

You will plan the architecture and solution design for our Quality Engineering transformation. As a technical expert, you will support several Technology Business Services teams, vendors and implementation partners while providing direction to Application Engineering teams. You will survey the technology landscape and guide the evolution of the current environment to support future capabilities and requirements. You will report to a leader in the Application Engineering group.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Develop Test automation, Test Data Strategy, and Roadmaps for capabilities in partnership with other technology groups (EA, I&O, Product teams)
  • Assist with transforming existing manual QA group to a QE function with automation-first mindset
  • Serve as a technical consultant to the QE team and the rest of the organization on Automation processes, tools, and technologies
  • Design, configure, and setup various Test automation tools on-prem and on-cloud to drive efficiencies and improve operational stability
  • Develop tooling and processes to increase automation and adherence to security and audit controls
  • Design and develop enterprise standard test automation, Test Data management frameworks, and processes
  • Foster the adoption of tools and capabilities across Technology groups
Your Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, and over 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Architect
  • Experience helping organizations transform existing manual QA groups to a QE function with automation-first mindset
  • Experience with test automation and test data management tools such as Test Complete Pro, Ready API, Service vPro, NeoLoad, GenRocket, Delphix etc.
  • 3 years Agile/Scrum experience
  • Experience with architecting and creating test automation frameworks
  • Experience implementing BDD/TDD and relevant toolsets is required
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration is preferred
  • U.S. candidates must be fully vaccinated as defined by the medical community against COVID-19 and provide proof of such vaccination by date of hire
