Position Overview

New Path Counseling Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselors to join our team in providing outstanding mental health care to our patients. This full-time position allows for the flexibility of remote work while actively contributing to the improvement of mental health outcomes in our community. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will utilize evidence-based practices to support clients managing various mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues.

You will have access to a range of digital tools, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, to ensure efficient service delivery and documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each patient and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that address common mental health issues and foster a sense of community among participants.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, including community resources.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards to safeguard patient confidentiality.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with the latest therapeutic practices and research findings.
• Participate actively in team meetings, presenting cases and collaborating on care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and emergency mental health support.

Compensation and Benefits

New Path Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
