Work Environment

This role is uniquely designed to be fully remote, allowing you to create a conducive work setting while being part of a community health clinic environment. While your primary responsibilities will be conducted from your home office, you will regularly engage in virtual meetings and consultative sessions with peers and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' strengths and challenges, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving positive outcomes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to address and ameliorate their mental health concerns.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups geared towards creating a safe environment where patients can share experiences and gain insight into common mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care that aligns with each patient’s overall health and wellness goals.

• Respond to crisis situations and provide emergency support during mental health emergencies, implementing de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients about various mental health disorders, treatment strategy options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards in mental health care.

• Engage actively in case consultations and professional development activities to refine skills and knowledge in the mental health field.

• Keep abreast of developments in mental health research and best practices to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds and cultures, and our practice is equipped to provide services that cater to these differences, respecting and valuing individual experiences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic methods.

• Proven experience conducting thorough mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster connections with patients and peers.

• Commitment to upholding professional ethics and boundaries in all client interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications is essential.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy.

• Background in community health or non-profit mental health settings.

• Familiarity with culturally competent mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits
