• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, establish clinical diagnoses, and collaboratively develop targeted treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique circumstances and goals.
• Provide timely crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, using appropriate protocols and techniques to ensure client safety and support.
• Document and maintain accurate, confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver coordinated and holistic care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, potential treatment options, and resources available within the community, advocating for clients’ rights as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and literature reviews to remain current with advancements in the field of mental health therapy.

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and more. Your ability to connect with clients virtually will enhance their therapeutic experience, fostering an environment where individuals feel safe and understood during their healing journey.

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting is necessary for this position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport and trust with clients.
• The ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team.
• A commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards throughout all interactions.

• Experience with telehealth service delivery is highly desirable, given the remote nature of this position.
• Prior involvement in crisis intervention and management within a clinical environment.
