Position Summary
The Senior Data Analyst is responsible to deliver insightful metrics, reports, and dashboards to support our business. The role requires collaboration with other analysts, data engineers, data product managers, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented collaborator with strong communication.

This is an on-site position in Madison, NJ. The position is responsible for overseeing our complaint and servicing data systems and reporting frameworks, ensuring the integrity and precision of data. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which will then be analyzed to glean insights that drive strategic business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst is tasked with establishing analytical and reporting functions, as well as monitoring performance and quality assurance processes to pinpoint areas for improvement.
Major Responsibilities
Under direction from the Director, Complaints Management, the Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Ensure that data analysis and reporting is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions
  • Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors
  • Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party sources and ensure the upkeep of databases and data systems
  • Create and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Engage with managers to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes
  • Design scripts and tools to automatically extract large volumes of data from websites or other digital sources, improving efficiency and availability
  • Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets
  • Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights
  • Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights
  • Manage and update databases to ensure they are secure, accessible, and functioning properly
  • Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities
  • Adhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx's Code of Conduct and all other company policies

Requirements
Skills & Experience
  • Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel and Power BI) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R
  • Proficient at create presentations and data visualizations within PowerPoint
  • Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
  • Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights
  • Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
  • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Ability to work independently

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical/research field (Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, etc.) and 5+ years of experience in data analytics, or equivalent combination. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a senior analytical role
  • Ability to travel 10%
  • Quality Management System process knowledge preferred
  • Expertise with Databricks preferred
