What You Will Do

  • Own and execute the business insights across the life sciences portfolio, focused on helping stakeholders minimize the time required to turn data into insights through visual storytelling where appropriate.
  • Understand business strategy and stakeholder requirements to determine the best solution to meet its needs.
  • Lead development and deployment of best-in-class analytics solutions to enable simplified self-service capabilities by sales and functional leadership.
  • Share solutions and critical thinking techniques within organization to enhance knowledge and ability across Business Unit.
  • Own and develop data structures required to combine multiple data sets to allow for multi-faceted data exploration and performance dashboards.
  • Create, improve, and maintain Tableau / Power BI dashboards using leading and lagging indicators from Financial and Operations metrics.
  • Manage deployment of analytics solutions through standard work development, training sessions, and on-going support for business teams.
  • Partner with Commercial Sales teams, Finance, IT and broader organization to develop and launch innovative solutions.
  • Operate in an agile fashion to deliver reports and dashboards to our stakeholders.
  • Drive and document analytics integration and data consolidation standards and best practices.
  • Develop and present complex, customized presentations of findings to senior leadership and field offices.
  • May need to support additional processes such as SIOP demand planning/forecast, Sales compensation reporting, annual operating and long-range planning strategic planning, marketing programs/campaign KPI/dashboard development, etc.

What You Will Bring

  • Undergraduate Degree in business or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate solutions from the customer's viewpoint
  • 5+ years of experience developing Analytics Solutions
  • Experience supporting systems integration, conversion, validation, and master data management process improvement
  • Experience building visualizations using Tableau
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataiku
  • Experience leveraging cloud infrastructure

  • Strong analytic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that research and analysis objectives are met and that they align with implementation action plans
  • Ability to wrangle and mine data to provide customer insights
  • Ability to create meaningful and easily interpretable data visualizations
  • Demonstrated ability to apply the right tool to the problem at hand, with consideration given to future enhancements and alternative audiences
  • Willingness to learn new tools and techniques to grow into Advanced Analytics space
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
