Remote Diagnostic Radiology / Nuclear Medicine Locums Opportunity – MichiganQuick Facts

  • Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST

Availability
  • Overnight coverage required (7–8 hour shifts)
  • 2–3 weeks of coverage per month preferred
  • Minimum acceptable coverage: 1 week per month
  • At least 7 shifts per month required
  • Ongoing assignment through end of 2026
Licenses & Certifications Required
  • Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Michigan medical license required
  • DEA waiver required (no DEA required for remote practice)
  • BLS not required for remote work setting
Practice Details
  • Fully remote overnight ED radiology coverage
  • Single attending radiologist supported by 2–3 residents overnight
  • Resident teaching required
  • Average volume: 80–130 mixed ED cases per 8-hour shift
  • Case complexity: mixed emergency department imaging
  • No call responsibilities
  • Systems:
    • EMR: Cerner

    • Dictation: PowerScribe
  • Workstation provided
  • Includes admissions and unassigned rounding documentation responsibilities
