Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. These clients may include a diverse range of individuals, including families, individuals facing challenges due to trauma, and marginalized groups such as refugees or survivors of domestic abuse. The therapist will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and resilience.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients.
  • A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to understanding clientsโ€™ experiences and challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle workloads efficiently, even in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in working with diverse populations, including those dealing with trauma and systemic challenges.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices specific to mood disorders and family systems.
  • Prior experience in a remote therapy setting is a plus, demonstrating the ability to effectively engage clients through virtual communication.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Generous benefits package, including paid time off, comprehensive health insurance, and a retirement savings plan.
  • Robust opportunities for continuing education and professional development, specifically in areas related to addiction counseling.
  • An encouraging, collaborative work environment that prioritizes mentorship and team support.
  • The ability to make a profound impact on clients' lives, helping them achieve long-term recovery and stability.
  • Access to up-to-date resources and research on effective treatment of mood disorders.
