Job description

Position Overview

Dynamic Psychological Therapy is actively pursuing dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselors to join our innovative remote healthcare team. This full-time role offers you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home, allowing you to create a balanced work-life schedule while making a significant impact on the lives of individuals needing mental health support.

About the Organization

Dynamic Psychological Therapy is established in Long Beach, California, specializing in providing comprehensive mental health care through teletherapy. Our mission is to facilitate individualsโ€™ mental well-being, promoting their resilience and ability to thrive in challenging circumstances. We are committed to enhancing access to quality mental health services by utilizing advanced digital platforms, ensuring that our clients receive the most effective and personalized care. Our team comprises seasoned professionals who wholeheartedly believe in fostering therapeutic relationships that empower clients on their mental health journeys.

Work Environment

As a remote organization, our counselors benefit from a dynamic work environment where telehealth technologies facilitate client interactions. You will utilize a robust therapy platform designed to serve as your private virtual office, equipped for live sessions via video or text, as well as secure messaging tools. The support you will receive from our administrative professionals ensures that you can focus on providing exceptional care to your clients without the distraction of marketing, billing, or excessive paperwork. Enjoy the autonomy of working from home while engaging with clients through a flexible schedule that suits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via video chat, focusing on enhancing their mental health and well-being.
  • Encourage open dialogue by guiding clients to explore their emotions and life experiences, helping them gain deeper insights into themselves and their interpersonal relationships.
  • Serve as a client advocate, assisting individuals in defining achievable mental health goals tailored to their personal needs.
  • Evaluate the mental health conditions of clients, designing and implementing treatment plans grounded in your clinical expertise and the latest evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize an all-in-one counselor dashboard to manage client interactions efficiently while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The client base you will support consists exclusively of stable adults who have been thoroughly screened before accessing our services. Our focus is on clients with lower acuity mental health needs, allowing you to work with individuals who are motivated and ready for meaningful change. We take pride in matching counselors with clients whose goals align with their expertise and preferences, ensuring a harmonious therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Full licensure in good standing from the state board, allowing for independent practice without supervision. Relevant qualifications include:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

*Note: We do not accept applications from holders of limited or provisional licenses or candidates with disciplinary actions against their licensure. Please specify your license type and state in your application.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates with strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor. Previous telehealth counseling experience is a plus, as it familiarizes you with digital interactions. Additionally, proficiency with technology and comfort using digital platforms for therapy is essential to ensure seamless connectivity with clients.

Compensation and Benefits

Your hard work and dedication will be compensated with a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with your level of experience and commitment. Enjoy additional benefits such as:

  • Weekly direct deposit allowing you to receive your earnings promptly.
  • Healthcare stipends for our full-time counselors, enabling you to maintain your health while providing exceptional care to clients.
  • Minimal paperwork responsibilities, enabling you to concentrate on client care rather than administrative tasks.
  • Unlimited referrals to ensure a consistent flow of clients and no marketing costs.
  • Swift onboarding processes that can have you working with clients within just a few days of application.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Dynamic Psychological Therapy, we believe in nurturing our teamโ€™s professional development through ongoing training and support. As a remote counselor, you will have opportunities to expand your skills in specialized therapeutic approaches and additional credentials, setting the stage for both personal and professional advancement.
