Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to clients using video conferencing tools to facilitate real-time discussions and interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes.
• Encourage clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, fostering a safe environment that promotes insight and personal growth.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in identifying and setting their goals while guiding them toward achieving these objectives.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health statuses; develop and implement tailored treatment plans employing solution-focused methodologies based on your clinical expertise.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans and therapeutic strategies as needed, ensuring alignment with each client's evolving needs and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of carefully screened clients. All clients will be stable adults requiring support for low-acuity mental health issues, ensuring that you can focus your skills on individuals who are ready to engage and grow. You will be matched with clients whose needs align with your specialties and demographic preferences, allowing for a more harmonious therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current, active licenses in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Candidates must be fully licensed and in good standing with their state boards; provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a naturally empathetic disposition.
• Proficiency in using computers and various digital platforms to manage client records and conduct therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include:
