Work Environment

This position operates remotely, providing the flexibility to create a work-life balance while engaging with clients in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and mental health needs.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, therapeutic goals, and progress.
• Facilitating comprehensive intake processes that establish initial rapport and trust with clients, while addressing their specific needs and concerns.
• Working collaboratively with our treatment team, including clinical directors and fellow counselors, to deliver coordinated care and ensure positive outcomes.
• Identifying and addressing negative behaviors by discussing personal issues during sessions and observational assessments.
• Offering specialized support to individuals challenged by addiction, including identifying harmful behaviors and developing effective coping mechanisms.
• Demonstrating diligent documentation of client interactions and progress to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards.
• Administering random drug tests as part of assessment protocols, if applicable, and providing therapy sessions that foster healing and growth.
• Maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a support network.
• Completing any additional duties that enhance the delivery of mental health services as directed by supervisory staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals with varying backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges. Your clients may present with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A valid social work license (LPC, LMFT, or LICSW) as required by Washington State regulations.
• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party check.
• Authorization to work within the United States.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining clarity and open communication.
• Good physical and mental health.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a variety of mental health challenges, particularly in an outpatient or private practice setting.
• Familiarity with behavioral health technology and electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient case management.
• Previous roles involving group and family counseling techniques, demonstrating proficiency in these modalities.
