Solaris Counseling Services is looking for a dedicated and unbiased Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative spirit with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will work alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other counselors to ensure comprehensive care for our clients. Utilizing advanced electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth tools, you will have the ability to connect with clients effectively and manage their care efficiently from the comfort of your own space, contributing to a modern and efficient healthcare delivery model.

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to evaluate clients' treatment needs and establish appropriate therapeutic goals.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies, applying a wide array of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Provide group, family, and individual therapy in various formats tailored to the unique dynamics of each client.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share insights and strategies, ensuring every client receives holistic care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and patient safety.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying updated on the latest mental health research and therapy methodologies.

Our client base reflects the diverse demographics of Richmond, Virginia, and includes individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of three years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, demonstrating a proven track record of effective client care.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, sharing knowledge and best practices for improved client outcomes.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms is strongly preferred.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience working with various populations and conditions, particularly within a community health framework, will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
