The outpatient office serves as a resource hub, fostering ongoing learning in mindfulness practices and mental health strategies.

• Deliver innovative mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to clients looking to enhance their emotional well-being and manage stress.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments to pinpoint individual stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals. Based on these assessments, develop personalized mindfulness strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation.
• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies to empower clients.
• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, addressing diverse mental health concerns while supporting clients in achieving their personal growth objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to develop integrated treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness approaches.
• Maintain meticulous, accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness practices used, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in regular personal mindfulness and therapeutic practice to enhance your skills and contribute to a culture of continuous professional growth.

The role centers on supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, burnout, and other stress-related conditions. We aim to create a safe and affirming space where clients can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards personal liberation and success.

• Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential for this role.
• Licensure: A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is required.
• Experience: Experience in therapeutic settings delivering mental health services is crucial for success in this position.

• Demonstrated training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Expertise in effectively integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions and a passion for holistic healing will be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills are necessary, enabling the creation of a calming and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
