Account Executive - IT Services & Software Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to drive new business growth across government, enterprise, and commercial markets. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, building strategic client relationships, and positioning innovative IT services and software solutions that deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in technology sales, a proven history of exceeding revenue targets, and experience engaging executive-level stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Execution
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, partner channels, events, and inbound leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and solution presentation through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline while providing accurate forecasting and CRM documentation.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.

  • Partner with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Work with channel partners and strategic alliances to expand market reach.

  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, market feedback, and sales reporting to leadership.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify market opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B technology sales, including software, SaaS, managed services, or IT consulting.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $52.88/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
