Job Summary:
Network Security Systems Plus, Inc. is seeking a Computer Security Systems Specialist. The role involves supporting the Detection team, conducting technical analysis of data, and developing IDS signatures and SNORT software.
Responsibilities:
• Supports Detection team.
• Conducts technical analysis of data and understands the nature of attacks, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Experience/interest in developing IDS signatures and SNORT software.
Qualifications:
Required:
• U.S. Citizenship
• 7–10 Years of Experience
• Supports Detection team
• Cyber network analysis (not network engineering)
• IDS and network monitoring
• Flow/packet analysis
• Conducts technical analysis of data and understands the nature of attacks, threats and vulnerabilities
• Experience/interest in developing IDS signatures and SNORT software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members and upper management
