• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, ensuring an accurate and compassionate evaluation.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with individual client goals, leveraging therapeutic interventions to achieve the best outcomes.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling services, facilitating therapeutic discussions and exercises that promote healing and personal growth.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred for enhanced therapeutic skills.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions within mental health settings.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or others relevant to mental health treatment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build meaningful rapport with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to facilitate clear dialogue and documentation.
• Commitment to ethical guidelines and maintaining client confidentiality.

• At least one year of experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
• Experience working in community health settings or with underserved populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to enhance service delivery is preferred.
