This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling our counselors to connect with clients across the United States from the comfort of their homes. We uphold a strong emphasis on maintaining privacy and confidentiality, ensuring that counselors have a conducive workspace with reliable internet access to facilitate seamless virtual sessions. Regular peer consultations and administrative support add to a structured, engaging work environment that fosters clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others.
  • Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and actively monitor their progress throughout the treatment process, adapting strategies as necessary.
  • Offer accessible teletherapy options to ensure that all clients, including those with varying accessibility needs, can receive support effectively.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all patient interactions as per ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay at the forefront of emerging mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with adolescents and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Your interventions will support these populations in achieving meaningful personal growth, improved emotional regulation, and coping strategies to deal with everyday stressors and more severe mental health concerns.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Valid licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or PsyD in the state where you practice.
  • Strong proficiency in using telehealth technology, including Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with patients through warm and empathic engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently from home, ensuring patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of direct mental health counseling experience, particularly in a telehealth setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment frameworks, such as our care pathways, is a plus.
  • Experience providing therapeutic interventions focused on young adult mental health.
  • Comfort with, and willingness to undergo training in specific evidence-based practices such as DBT and ACT.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management. Additional benefits include:

  • Flexible scheduling designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Access to ongoing training and continuing education reimbursement to support your professional growth.
