Work Environment

As a remote position based out of our detox facility, this role offers a unique opportunity to integrate traditional therapy approaches with innovative telehealth solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental and emotional health needs, strengths, and available resources.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address each client's unique circumstances, goals, and clinical needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and psychoeducation classes to enhance clients’ understanding of their conditions and foster community support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Offer crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning, to ensure client stability during challenging moments.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards, ensuring that records remain up-to-date and confidential.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on individuals seeking support for substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health issues. In this role, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, including adults and adolescents, helping them navigate the complexities of their recovery journey. Your interventions will foster a sense of hope and agency, empowering clients to take active roles in their healing processes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health or outpatient settings.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and their application in clinical practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment setting.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practices.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teamwork within mental health or medical settings.
• Training in evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits
