Position Summary:

End-of-the-Line Bus Terminal Fleet Interior Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial buses at the conclusion of their service routes. This includes comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of bus interiorssuch as floors, seats, windows, and high-touch areasas well as occasional exterior washing and detailing. The role plays a critical part in ensuring buses are presentable and hygienic for drivers and passengers alike.


This an fulltime Position Mon- Fri 10 am -7 pm


Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove trash and debris from bus interiors
  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including handrails, fare boxes, and driver areas
  • Clean and disinfect floors, windows, mirrors, and seating areas
  • Remove graffiti, gum, and stains from surfaces
  • Perform light detailing of wheels and body panels
  • Operate or assist with automated wash equipment when required
  • Follow proper cleaning protocols and use approved cleaning agents
  • Ensure all assigned buses are cleaned in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Report maintenance or damage issues identified during cleaning

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid drivers license preferred
  • Prior custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience is a plus (training available)
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification and knowledge of OSHA Right to Know Law preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious work ethic
