• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account patients' cultural backgrounds, life experiences, and unique needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide effective interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions that promote psychological resilience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Provide crisis intervention and support, assessing high-risk situations and implementing appropriate strategies to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in line with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to support quality improvement and accountability.
• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to enhance both personal and organizational effectiveness.
• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy to inform clinical practice.

Our clientele consists primarily of individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, emphasizing those from marginalized communities. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, alongside a strong commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy, showcasing the ability to utilize culturally responsive approaches.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with patients from various cultural backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology, enabling efficient management of patient care and documentation.
• A dedication to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and appropriate professional boundaries.
• Ability to seamlessly collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing the overall patient experience.

• Experience working in community health settings or outpatient mental health clinics.
• Previous involvement in programs or initiatives focused on mental health care for underserved communities.
• Membership in relevant professional organizations or ongoing participation in mental health and cultural competency training.
