Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Account Executive to join our sales team, responsible for acquiring new Local Government customers and expanding existing accounts within the New York City market.
This role requires a balanced seller who can generate pipeline, close new business, and build long-term partnerships that drive sustained revenue growth.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to local government customers, helping them leverage Cyclomedia's street-level imagery, LiDAR, and asset extraction solutions to improve workflows, decision-making, and long-term planning.
This is a remote position, with the ideal candidate based in the Northeast (NYC, Boston, Philadelphia) and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and engage new (Local Government) customers within your assigned territory.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close across both new and existing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, events, and partner collaboration.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customers, driving renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Identify opportunities to expand usage across departments, use cases, and multi-year programs.
  • Clearly articulate Cyclomedia's value proposition across imagery, software, and solutions throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Navigate complex procurement processes, budgeting timelines, and multi-stakeholder decision environments.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and account activity using CRM tools.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to drive acquisition, adoption, and retention.
  • Represent Cyclomedia at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and webinars while staying current on market trends and identifying new opportunities.

  • 5+ years of sales experience in GIS, imagery, or related technology solutions, with a strong focus on Local Government customers.
  • Experience working with or selling into tax assessment, public works, or similar municipal functions is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through proposal development and close.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, including effective listening and customer qualification.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and passion for growing a business.

Benefits
Working at Cyclomedia comes with more than just meaningful work. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally, including:
  • Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance (including domestic partner coverage)
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and your birthday
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • A fun, collaborative, and supportive team environment
