You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality telehealth therapy to adolescents and young adults grappling with mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. This full-time position allows you to impact lives positively from the comfort of your home while enjoying a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually.

About the Organization

At Duality Mental Health Services, we are at the forefront of addressing the mental health crisis affecting young people across the United States. Our mission is to connect individuals with effective, life-saving mental health treatment by bridging geographical and financial barriers. Our innovative treatment programs combine individual therapy, curated peer support groups, and family therapy, all tailored to promote long-term healing within a collaborative, remote setting.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from your home in Pasadena, California, or elsewhere within the state. You will maintain a schedule that best fits your lifestyle, typically Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, without on-call duties. Our Operations team will handle all administrative tasks, giving you more time to focus on client care and therapeutic techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health status and substance abuse history, tailoring therapeutic approaches accordingly.
  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated and integrated care, contributing to holistic treatment goals.
  • Involve clients' families in the recovery process by providing education and support to foster understanding and participation.
  • Keep accurate and timely records compliant with established regulations and standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and young adults, who often face unique challenges as they navigate their mental health journeys. By emphasizing shared experiences and fostering connections among peers, you will help decrease isolation and promote sustainable healing. Your role will be essential in improving client outcomes and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Active state licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD is essential for this role.
  • Experience delivering telehealth therapy services specifically to adolescents and young adults.
  • Proficient in using technology and software platforms, including electronic health records (EHRs) and the Google suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
  • Display professional presentation and maintain a warm, empathetic demeanor during client interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience utilizing evidence-based interventions in a clinical setting.
  • Comfortable working independently from home while ensuring a confidential and private environment for client sessions.
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing training focused on our proprietary care pathways and evidence-based treatment frameworks.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, providing competitive compensation based on experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a retirement plan, and generous paid time off to support work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education, enabling you to advance your skills and career.
  • A collaborative and supportive work culture where team members are empowered to thrive and grow in their roles.
