Job description

About Lovesac

We are a young-at-heart, fast-growing furniture company, dedicated to helping people fill their homes with Total Comfort. We do this by designing and innovating furniture solutions that are adaptable, washable, expandable, and delivered right-to-your-door-able, allowing our customers to live the life they want to live.

Our Designed for Life mission started with Sacs, a seat so much better than your classic beanbag made with repurposed Durafoam and designed to reduce environmental impact while providing unimaginable, cloud-like comfort. From there, we expanded the possibility for sustainable furniture with Sactionals, a customizable modular sectional that can be endlessly rearranged to evolve with you. Our product line has grown a lot since our Sacs days, but our goal will always remain the same - to create truly adaptable, comfortable furniture that can be with you for life.

About our Culture

At Lovesac, we strive to be an employer of choice by embodying a culture that encourages team members to think and dream big. We call this Top Ambition. We aim to not only excel within our industry but also make a meaningful impact on the world. Above all else, we're driven by love (because it matters) and are dedicated to promoting love and happiness in all aspects of our work. It's about success, of course, but it's also about making a positive impact on everyone our business touches.

About the Role

As our Sr. Manager, Retail Projects & Operations you are responsible for leading enterprise and field-facing projects that improve operational effectiveness, support new business initiatives, drive process improvements, and enable Lovesac's continued growth and success.

This role partners closely with leaders across Retail Operations, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Human Resources to drive projects from planning through implementation and ensure successful execution across the business.

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver and strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and can influence cross-functional teams to deliver results. This individual identifies opportunities to improve processes, enhance the employee and customer experience, and support operational efficiency while driving projects that create measurable business impact.

This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT.

Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.

What You'll Do

Enterprise & Retail Project Leadership

  • Lead high-impact enterprise and retail initiatives that support Lovesac's strategic priorities, operational goals, customer experience, and long-term growth.

  • Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities that improve operational effectiveness, scalability, employee experience, and business performance across the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted project leader, driving alignment and accountability across cross-functional teams.

Operational Excellence & Business Improvement

  • Identify and implement solutions that streamline processes, increase efficiency, and enhance organizational effectiveness across retail and corporate functions.
  • Lead initiatives that improve store operations, customer experience, labor optimization, technology adoption, field support, and enterprise processes.
  • Establish success metrics and reporting frameworks to measure project impact, monitor progress, and inform ongoing business decisions.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging data, stakeholder feedback, and industry best practices to drive sustainable results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with leaders across Retail Operations, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Human Resources, and other business functions to successfully execute initiatives.
  • Facilitate project working sessions, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews to drive alignment and project momentum.
  • Build strong relationships between field and corporate teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new programs and processes.
  • Communicate project priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Change Management & Execution

  • Develop rollout strategies, communication plans, training resources, and support materials that enable successful project delivery.
  • Support leaders and teams through organizational change by ensuring readiness, engagement, and adoption of new initiatives.
  • Anticipate risks, identify barriers to execution, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and drive continuous optimization efforts to maximize business impact.

Innovation & Strategic Initiatives

  • Research emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices to identify opportunities that enhance efficiency, scalability, and the customer experience.
  • Lead pilot programs, test-and-learn initiatives, and strategic projects that support innovation and business growth.
  • Evaluate initiative performance and develop recommendations for scaling successful solutions across the enterprise.
