Job description

Wells Enterprises is searching for a Retail Sales Associate in our Fayetteville territory.  The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to develop strong customer relationships and drive sales. This position includes a company car and full benefits.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Serves as brand ambassador and face of Wells to customers and consumers. Provides best in class customer service, shares expertise on Wells brands and products, resolves all issues and concerns, and maintains strong relationship with store personnel.
  • Maintains full distribution on existing SKUs and ensures placement of new items on shelf based on approved planogram. Completes daily merchandising tasks such as filling out of stocks, making on-hand adjustments as necessary, facing product, tagging, rotating, building displays, placing POS materials, and providing reset support.
  • Proactively makes incremental sales by securing displays and pre-selling items for upcoming promotions.
  • Effectively manages time and priorities for store calls within territory. Ensures store calls are completed based on assigned store call frequency.
  • Completes accurate and timely database entries, reporting, recaps, expense reports, store audit information, and other ad hoc requests.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-3 years of selling experience.
  • Must maintain current and valid driver's license. Daytime Travel approximately 25%, with the possibility of an occasional overnight stay. 
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills; position requires daily discussions with customers at various levels.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate commitment to meet or exceed customers' expectations.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and show respect for others.
  • Ability to work independently, but also successful team building skills.
  • Ability to communicate with email and basic internet skills.
