Job description

Atkins Golf Club at the University of Illinois, located in Urbana, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Sales Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).
Compensation:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Time frame:
Now and through the Holiday Season.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provides a high level of customer service in the golf shop, including taking tee times, checking in golfers, and merchandise sales
  • Accurately handles cash and credit card transactions related to merchandise sales and greens fees
  • Assists in keeping shop displays neat and clean

Qualifications
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Basic computer software operation
  • Customer service experience helpful
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of golf extremely helpful
