Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Drive the full sales lifecycle by prospecting, developing, and closing complex opportunities with local government agencies.

  • Cultivate strategic territory and account plans to expand our presence within the public sector market.

  • Champion our Asset Lifecycle Management solutions through high-impact product demonstrations to key decision-makers.

  • Build and leverage influential relationships with business partners to maximize market penetration.

  • Upsell and cross-sell innovative Trimble software offerings into existing accounts.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of successful sales or business development experience within the GovTech space.

  • Deep understanding of AECO industry workflows, including permitting, planning, and public infrastructure construction.

  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively with local government agencies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct professional product demonstrations.

Bonus Points For

  • Competitive knowledge of AEC solutions such as Autodesk, Bentley, or Esri ArcGIS.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, PMIS, or specialized asset management and permitting software.

  • Established professional network within local government departments.

Logistics

  • Location: US Remote (Ideally SE US - Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Texas).

  • Travel Requirement: 40-50% within the region, with occasional travel for trade shows or meetings.
